Travel itinerary
Flight to Warsaw
We will begin our adventure in Poland with passport and baggage check-in, followed by a flight to Warsaw, the capital of Poland.
Warsaw
After arriving in Warsaw, the tour of the Old Town begins. During the walk with a local guide, notable sights include the Barbican, the Market Square, the Cathedral, Castle Square, Krakowskie Przedmieście, and Piłsudski Square.
Next is the transfer to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Warsaw
After breakfast, a visit to the Presidential Palace (if possible) or the interior of the Royal Castle with a local guide is planned. Lunch will be at a local restaurant, followed by a visit to the Warsaw Uprising Museum. Then, the tour continues to Łazienki Królewskie – the most beautiful palace complex in Europe.
Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Czestochowa, Zakopane
After breakfast, departure to Częstochowa to visit the Pauline Monastery with the miraculous image of Our Lady of Częstochowa (the Black Madonna). At noon, witness the unveiling of the image. After lunch, transfer to Zakopane.
Dinner and an opportunity to use the hotel’s thermal baths.
Overnight stay in Zakopane.
Zakopane
After breakfast, a morning cable car trip to Kasprowy Wierch – one of the highest peaks in the Tatra Mountains located on the border with Slovakia. In the afternoon, a guided tour of Zakopane’s town center, followed by free time on Krupówki Street.
In the late afternoon, dinner at a regional inn with a folklore show. In the evening, an opportunity to use the hotel’s thermal baths.
Overnight stay in Zakopane.
Wadowice, Krakow
After breakfast, the journey continues to Wadowice to visit the John Paul II Family Home Museum. Lunch will feature the famous Wadowice cream cakes.
Next, the trip proceeds to Krakow, starting with a tour of Wawel. The royal chambers and the Dragon’s Den, a cave carved by the waters of the Vistula River, reputed to be the home of the Wawel Dragon, are highlights.
The bishop’s palace on Franciszkańska Street, famous for the “Papal Window,” is a notable site. The tour then moves to the Old Town, showcasing the famous market square with the Cloth Hall and St. Mary’s Church. Nearby, the preserved buildings of Jagiellonian University with the beautiful courtyard of Collegium Maius – the Barbican and Planty, and the courtyard of the Jagiellonian University are also included.
The visit to the Old Town includes stops at the Cloth Hall and the Town Hall Tower, along with entry into St. Mary’s Church. There will be free time afterward.
The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay in Krakow
Auschwitz, Krakow
After breakfast, the trip proceeds to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum, where the former concentration camp Auschwitz I will be explored. The visit also includes Auschwitz II-Birkenau, where over a million people were murdered in gas chambers by the Nazis.
Following lunch, the return to Krakow includes a visit to the most famous Polish mound – the Kościuszko Mound. Erected on St. Bronisława Hill, this symbolic tomb pays tribute to the national hero Tadeusz Kościuszko. Completed in 1823, this earthen monument has become a symbol of independence and freedom. A city game will take place during the day. Free time, dinner.
The day ends with a return to the hotel for the night.
Wieliczka, Krakow
Today, the treasures of Poland are revealed. After breakfast, the journey begins to Wieliczka to explore the historic salt mine, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The underground passages, chambers, and chapels carved out of rock salt annually attract over a million tourists from around the world.
Following lunch, the return to Krakow includes a visit to the Kazimierz district. The narrow, cobblestone streets retain their historic names like Szeroka, Wąska, Izaaka, and Estery. Some synagogues have found new purposes—the High Synagogue now serves as a venue for concerts, promotional meetings, and exhibitions, and the history and culture of Krakow’s Jews can be explored at the Museum in the Old Synagogue.
The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay in Krakow.
Departure from Krakow
After breakfast and bidding farewell to the group, the journey to the airport for the return flight begins.
