Flight to Hanoi
After the ticket and baggage check-in, we embark on a journey to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam.
Hanoi
Upon arrival in Hanoi, transfer to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel.
Free time to explore the city at night.
Hanoi
After breakfast, we begin a full-day sightseeing tour of the capital of Vietnam.
We visit landmarks such as the Temple of Literature, the first university in Vietnam, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, his modest stilt house, and the imperial citadel.
During the day, we stop at a traditional Vietnamese restaurant for lunch.
Return to the hotel for overnight accommodation.
Ninh Binh, Tam Coc
After an early breakfast, we embark on a trip to Ninh Binh. We visit the Bich Dong Pagoda and take a boat trip to Tam Coc.
There is an opportunity to visit Hang Mua: a viewpoint carved into the mountain top with 465 steps leading to a dragon sculpture.
Alternatively, we might take a short bike ride available.
After lunch provided at a local restaurant, we return to Hanoi for overnight accommodation.
Ha Long Bay
After breakfast, we embark on a cruise through Ha Long Bay, considered one of the Seven Natural Wonders.
During the cruise, we enjoy unforgettable views and sample regional dishes served by the crew.
Additional attractions await us during the cruise, such as kayaking, cave exploration, and free time for those seeking relaxation and beautiful views.
Overnight stay on board the ship.
Ha Long Bay, Da Nang, Hoi An
Next day, we spend our time cruising in Ha Long Bay. For those interested, there will be a brief Tai Chi session in the morning.
After lunch served on board the ship, we bid farewell to the crew and transfer to the airport for our flight to Da Nang.
Upon arrival, we proceed to Hoi An – the magical lantern city.
Overnight stay at a hotel in Hoi An.
Hoi An
Today, we immerse ourselves in rural life around Hoi An.
Our day begins with a short bike ride to Cam Thanh Village. A local host will guide us through his farm and introduce us to the intricacies of rice cultivation.
For the adventurous, there is an optional buffalo riding and rice planting activities.
We end the day on round bamboo basket boats, traversing the waterways through the jungle. Traditional lunch awaits us at the farm during the day.
In the evening, we stroll along the river, and for those interested, there is optional boat ride with lanterns. Overnight stay in Hoi An.
Ba Na Hills
After breakfast, we will take a bus to Ba Na Hills station, which is 55 km away from our hotel.
We board the cable car, which takes us to the mountaintop, where we admire the Golden Bridge (Hands of God). The Golden Bridge is supported by giant divine hands.
We also see the Flower Garden of Love and the Linh Ung Pagoda. In the afternoon, we take the cable car back down, where the bus driver takes us to Da Nang International Airport.
In the late afternoon, we take a flight to Siem Reap.
Upon arrival, we transfer to the hotel. We have dinner at a traditional restaurant and experience the nightlife of the city. Overnight stay at a hotel in Siem Reap.
Angkor Wat
Today, we have a full-day tour of the Angkor Wat temple complex ahead of us. We begin with a visit to the Ta Prohm temple in the Siem Reap province.
Next, we explore the Ta Prohm temple, famously featured in the movie “Tomb Raider,” as well as the South Gate, the unique Bayon Temple, Phimeanakas, a three-tier pyramid-shaped temple, the Elephant Terrace, and the Leper King Terrace with its mysterious statue.
Finally, we witness the sunset. Overnight stay in Siem Reap.
Lake Tonle Sap
After breakfast, we head to Tonle Sap Lake, where we observe the daily life of residents in the floating villages.
During the rainy season, due to the changing direction of the river, the lake significantly expands, flooding the surrounding areas. It is also famous for its stilt settlements and floating fishing villages.
After lunch at a local restaurant, there is transfer to Phnom Penh. Check-in and rest.
Phnom Penh
After breakfast, we drive to the Independence Monument, commemorating Cambodia’s liberation from colonial rule.
Next, we visit the Royal Palace, where the roofs of the buildings resemble gilded snakeskin. Next, we see the Silver Pagoda, home to the Emerald Buddha and another Buddha statue covered with over 2,000 diamonds.
Finally, we drive to Wat Phnom, a temple with numerous stone steps leading up to it. Around noon, we take a speedboat to Chau Doc.
Transfer to the hotel, check-in, and rest.
Chau Doc, Can Tho
Today, we explore the surroundings of Chau Doc. Must-see places undoubtedly include Nui Sam and the Tra Su Sanctuary.
At the top of Nui Sam, there are several religious sites, including the Tay An Pagoda, Ba Chua Xu Pagoda, Thoai Ngoc Hau Tomb, and the Hang Pagoda.
Next, we head to the Tra Su Sanctuary. From the boat deck, surrounded by mangrove forests, we admire various species of water birds.
After the tour, we drive to the city of Can Tho, the largest in the Mekong Delta. Overnight stay in Can Tho.
Can Tho Ho Chi Minh City
After breakfast, we visit the floating market, where exotic fruits and vegetables are sold. While cruising through the canals amidst lush aquatic vegetation, we have the opportunity to taste local specialties.
Then, we return to the hotel and in the late afternoon, we head to Saigon. Optionally, there is an exclusive dinner cruise on the river in Saigon (participation needs to be arranged in advance through the office. Cost approximately $65 USD).
Ho Chi Minh
Today, we conclude our Asian adventure in Vietnam and Cambodia. After breakfast, free time until the transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport.
