Travel itinerary
Flight to Lisbon
Let’s begin our adventure in Portugal with passport and baggage check-in, followed by a flight to Lisbon – a city characterized by its unique atmosphere created by architecture, narrow streets, and expansive beaches.
Costa Da Caparica
After arriving in Lisbon, we will transfer to the hotel in Costa da Caparica, recognized as one of the most popular tourist destinations in Portugal due to its proximity to Lisbon and easy access to the coast.
Check-in at the hotel and time to relax. Dinner and overnight stay.
Belém
After breakfast, we will drive to the suburban district of Belém. Our exploration will begin with a visit to the Jerónimos Monastery, where the tombs of Vasco da Gama and the national poet Luís de Camões are located. While strolling along the Tagus, we’ll also see the beautiful Monument to the Discoveries and the famous Belém Tower.
Next, we’ll take a short break to relax in a local pastry shop, where we’ll taste delicious ‘Belém pastries’ served since 1837 according to a secret recipe. After the tasting, we’ll explore the unique worlds of Alfama and Mouraria.
Return to the hotel. Dinner. Overnight stay.
Óbidos, Nazaré, Fatima
After breakfast, we’ll head to the medieval town of Óbidos and then to Nazaré, a fishing village located right on the Atlantic.
Next, we’ll drive to Fátima, one of the most important pilgrimage centers in the world. The city gained immense fame due to a series of Marian apparitions between May 13 and October 17, 1917, witnessed by three children – Francis, Jacinta Marto, and Lucia dos Santos.
Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Setubal, the Arrábida Natural Park
After breakfast, we’ll drive to the town of Setubal, where we’ll embark on a catamaran to visit wild dolphins.
Next, we’ll head to the Arrábida Natural Park. At the end of the day, we’ll enjoy a wine tasting experience featuring four types of wine with appetizers (sheep cheese, ham, Portuguese sausage paio, chorizo sausage, bread, and toasts) at one of the nearby wineries.
Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Costa Da Caparica
After breakfast, free time to enjoy the charms of the surroundings and hotel amenities. Dinner. Overnight stay.
Alentejo, Évora
After breakfast, we’ll head to the heart of the Alentejo region, which will reveal the tradition of local agriculture spanning many generations. Cork plantations, vineyards, and olive groves define the slow passage of time.
In the afternoon, we’ll drive to Évora. We’ll take a stroll through the historic city center, which was rightfully inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1986. Our visit will also include the Bones Chapel. It is believed that long-deceased monks gaze at the tourists from every corner of the chapel.
Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight stay.
Cascais, Sintra, Cabo Da Roca
Lisbon
After breakfast, we’ll head to Lisbon. Strolling through hills, traversing narrow streets, crossing squares and corners, we’ll try to capture the spirit of the city created by its history and inhabitants – citizens of the whole world!
We’ll visit the lower and upper town. We’ll see, among others, Avenida da Liberdade, Praça Restauradores, the historic Elevador Gloria and Bica, and viewpoints: miradouro Portas do Sol and miradouro Senhora do Monte. We’ll visit Praça do Comércio and Praça do Rossio. There will be free time, of course.
The day will be crowned with dinner in a typical Portuguese tasca with a fado music concert!
Return to the hotel late at night. Overnight stay.
Departure from Lisbon
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and lunch will be followed by a transfer to the airport.
