Travel itinerary
Flight to Cairo
The journey to Egypt will begin with passport and baggage check-in and a flight to Cairo, the capital and largest city of Egypt, often referred to as the ‘Mother of the World’ or the ‘City of a Thousand Minarets.’ Egypt has captivated tourists for generations. This expedition will be somewhat different from the usual, as we will explore some less accessible parts of the country.
Cairo
After arriving in Cairo and transferring to the hotel, our journey to Egypt and its hidden corners begins. We have a welcome dinner planned near the pyramids and the famous Sphinx. Egyptian cuisine is healthy and exceptionally tasty, influenced by Mediterranean, North African, and Middle Eastern flavors.
Overnight stay in Cairo.
Suez Canal, Mount Sinai
After breakfast, we will visit the Suez Canal, where we will have lunch. Then, we will proceed to Dahab. After checking in at the hotel, we will climb Mount Sinai to admire the sunset. Overnight stay at the hotel.
The Monastery of St. Catherine
After breakfast, we will visit the Monastery of St. Catherine, situated at an altitude of 1570 meters above sea level. According to Christian beliefs, this is the place where God appeared to Moses in the form of the Burning Bush. Overnight stay in Dahab.
Cairo
After breakfast, we will return to Cairo (approximately 6 hours of travel). Along the way, we will make short stops and have lunch. Overnight stay in Cairo.
The Grand Egyptian Museum
After breakfast, we will visit the newly built museum, ‘The Grand Egyptian Museum.’ We will see numerous exhibits and journey back to the time of the Pharaohs through the history narrated by the museum staff. In the afternoon, free time. Overnight stay in Cairo.
Black Desert
After an early breakfast, we will embark on a journey to the Black Desert. Its name comes from the color of the rocks that make up the landscape. We will walk around Crystal Mountain, swim in cold mountain water, and spend the night in tents under the starry sky.
White Desert
After breakfast, our desert expedition continues. We will visit the Agabat Valley, located deep within the White Desert. Over millions of years, unique limestone and chalk rock formations have developed here. Overnight stay in tents in the White Desert.
Bahariya Oasis, Cairo
After breakfast, we will head to the Bahariya Oasis, where we will have lunch. Egyptian cuisine offers a variety of dishes, so everyone is sure to find something to their liking. Then, we will continue our journey to Alexandria. Overnight stay.
Al Alamein
After breakfast, a bit of history awaits us. We will visit El-Alamein, where during World War II, Allied forces defeated the German army, ultimately halting the Nazi expansion in North Africa. We will explore the unique World War II Museum and take a stroll along the military cemetery on Tell al-Aisa hill. Accommodation and overnight stay in Alexandria.
Alexandria
After breakfast, let’s explore the key sites in Alexandria. We will visit the catacombs and the column erected by Diocletian to commemorate the victory over the usurper Domitian.
After lunch, with the opportunity to taste local seafood, we will drive back to Cairo. Check-in at the hotel.
In the evening, a visit to the oldest Egyptian market, ‘Khan el-Khalili Bazaar,’ followed by a farewell dinner.
Departure from Cairo
Today marks the end of our adventure in Egypt. After breakfast, we will head to the airport to bid farewell to the group and return home with wonderful memories and photos.

Tour participants are insured according to the requirements of the US Department of Transportation for a total amount of $500,000 (insurance policy available upon request). Participants may opt for additional insurance coverage for hospital and outpatient treatment of illnesses acquired during the tour, as well as accidents in visited facilities (further information available at the office) for an additional fee.
