Travel itinerary
Flight to Panama
Our journey starts the moment we set foot on Panamanian soil upon landing at the airport. You can immediately feel the vibrant rhythm of a country where cultural diversity and natural beauty go hand in hand.
Upon arrival at the Panama airport, we will be greeted with warmth and the hospitality of the local people, which is a characteristic feature of this country. After collecting our luggage, we will head toward the hotel. During the drive, we’ll have the opportunity to admire beautiful landscapes.
Panama City
After breakfast, we will visit the Miraflores Locks Tourist Center at the Panama Canal, where we’ll dive into the details of the world-famous canal.
Miraflores Locks lets us witness the passage of ships through the canal’s lock system. It’s an extraordinary experience to watch these massive vessels navigate different water levels, crossing the divide between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
Following our visit to Miraflores Locks, our journey continues as we transport ourselves back in time to the historic ‘old quarter’, known as “Casco Antiguo”. It’s a true gem, featuring charming narrow streets, colorful facades, and delightful squares. We’ll feel like we’ve stepped into a bygone era as we stroll through its lanes.
Gamboa
Discovery awaits us today as we venture into the beautiful town of Gamboa. Once serving as a residential base for the dedicated workers who constructed the Panama Canal, Gamboa has since evolved into a true paradise for nature enthusiasts.
In the evening, after a day filled with adventures, we’ll have the opportunity to relax on the porch of our hotel, surrounded by jungle sounds. It’s an experience that will make us feel closer to nature and help us relax after an intense day of sightseeing.
Our night’s stay in Gamboa will offer the peace and quiet needed to recharge our batteries, ensuring we’re ready for the exciting adventures that lie ahead on our journey through Panama.

Today is set to be an exciting day full of discoveries in Gamboa. Our journey begins with a ride on the Panamanian tram, which will take us on a tour through the area.
Orchidarium
Our first stop is the Orchidarium, where we’ll have the chance to admire the diversity and beauty of orchids and other exotic plants.
Butterfly House
Next, we’ll head to the butterfly house, where we’ll get to observe them in their natural habitat. It’s a wonderful opportunity to appreciate their beautiful shapes and colors.
Sanctuary
The Sanctuary is up next on our itinerary. We’ll uncover the secrets of the jungle and the exotic animals that call these lands home.
We’ll have a Panama Canal boat tour waiting for us to end the day. It’s truly one of the most thrilling experiences you can have in Panama.
Westin Playa Bonita
Today, we are going on an extraordinary trip to the Pacific coast, heading towards the charming town of Veracruz, home to the luxurious Westin Playa Bonita resort. This destination gives us two days filled with blissful relaxation and the opportunity to take in the charms of the beach, water, and sun.
Upon our arrival in Veracruz and check-in at the Westin Playa Bonita, a world of endless possibilities unfolds before us. The resort grants us access to one of the most beautiful beaches on the Pacific coast. We can take strolls along the shore, engage in beach volleyball, or simply unwind on a sun lounger beneath swaying palm trees, all while listening to the soothing sound of the waves.

Now, we’re going to head towards Westin Playa Bonita, where we are going to continue our relaxing retreat. This place is a true haven, perfect for pampering yourself and taking in the charms of Panama.
At Westin Playa Bonita, we can treat ourselves to a variety of flavors and culinary experiences at one of its six exceptional restaurants. There is also a bar, where we can sample exotic cocktails while enjoying the sounds of music.
Westin Playa Bonita offers everything one could hope for on a luxury vacation. It’s perfect for relaxing, trying foood, and admiring Panama’s beauty. Our journey is filled with unforgettable moments, and Westin Playa Bonita is yet another magical stop on our adventure.

After the whirlwind of experiences Panama has offered us, it’s time for some well-deserved relaxation and reflection.
If we’re in the mood for some pure laziness, we can head to the beach, set up under a sunshade, and soak in the sun while listening to the waves. Don’t forget to try the local cocktails at the beach bars; your taste buds will thank you.
Alternatively, we can take a stroll along the shoreline. Keep an eye out for seashells that the ocean washes up – they make for wonderful souvenirs. Walking by the beach is also an excellent way to find some peace, relax, and appreciate the beauty of Panama’s nature.
Flight Home from Panama
The time has come to say goodbye to Panama. We’ll soon be heading from the hotel to the international airport for our journey back home.
