Skiing in Japan: Winter Adventure in Niseko

Departure to Japan to the island of Hokkaido and the beginning of a winter adventure.

Arrival on the island of Hokkaido in northern Japan. A two-hour transfer from the airport to Niseko Village, one of Japan’s most renowned ski resorts.

Accommodation at Green Leaf Hotel, offering direct access to the ski slopes (ski in and out), making it an ideal place for skiers. This facility combines modern design with traditional Japanese aesthetics, and guests can enjoy relaxing in hot springs (onsen) with views of the snow-covered mountains.

A full day of skiing. Niseko offers about 120 km of ski trails, divided into four main resorts: Grand Hirafu, Hanazono, Niseko Village, and Annupuri (under the same ski pass).

Each of these resorts has something to offer both beginners and advanced skiers. There is an option to organize skiing or snowboarding lessons with professional instructors. Lunch and dinner at one of the nearby restaurants. Overnight in Niseko Village.

Another day on the nearby slopes, where you can admire the majestic mountains and spectacular views of Mount Yotei, also known as “Ezo Fuji” due to its resemblance to the famous Mount Fuji. Rising to a height of 1,898 meters, this dormant volcano is surrounded by dense forests and picturesque landscapes. Its conical shape and snow-covered peaks create a breathtaking view.

Continuation of skiing and exploration of the slopes. The ski resorts in Niseko offer snow parks with ramps and jumps for those who want to try more extreme forms of skiing and snowboarding.

Another day on the slopes in Niseko. Opportunity to enjoy local attractions such as snowmobile rides, dog sledding, or evening baths in hot springs (onsen).

Last day of skiing. In the afternoon, transfer to Sapporo to your hotel and time to explore the city. Sapporo is a city of rich culture and beautiful architecture. Known mainly for its perfect beer, Sapporo is home to one of Japan’s oldest breweries.

We will see the Sapporo Tower, stroll through the city streets and along the famous avenue called Ramen Yokocho, or “ramen alley.”

Dinner and overnight in Sapporo.

After breakfast, further exploration of Sapporo. Visit the Sapporo Beer Museum and shop at the famous Nijo Market.
In the afternoon, transport to Tokyo.

Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and evening stroll through the dynamic and neon-lit streets of Tokyo.

A full day of sightseeing in Tokyo. After breakfast, a walk through the charming streets of Asakusa, starting with the impressive Thunder Gate, Kaminarimon. Stroll down Nakamise-dori, full of traditional shops and souvenir stalls, leading to Tokyo’s oldest Buddhist temple, Sensō-ji.

the afternoon, transfer to Shibuya for the famous Shibuya Crossing, where crowds of pedestrians flow in the rhythm of lights and street traffic. For those interested, the option to go up to Shibuya Sky (additional cost approx. $20) to admire the unforgettable view of the endless maze of neon lights and skyscrapers that illuminate Tokyo’s night sky.

Overnight in Tokyo.

The last day in Tokyo. Free time for lastminute shopping, walks, and farewells to the city. Transfer to the airport and departure with a suitcase full of unforgettable memories from Japan
