Ola España! Spain is a country full of wonders. Here, the atmosphere is lively and relaxed. When we think of Spain, images of sunny beaches, energetic flamenco dance with the sound of guitars, the taste of paella, and afternoon siestas come to mind. The country is also home to many famous landmarks, such as Sagrada Familia in Barcelona or Plaza de Espana in Seville. Rek Travel Adventure invites you on a journey to discover the charms of this country.

Flight to Spain
We will start our journey with passport and baggage check-in and a flight to Barcelona – one of the largest and most beautiful places in Spain.
Barcelona
After arriving in Barcelona, we will head to the hotel. After a short rest, we will take a stroll through the old town. We will visit Barrio Gótico, one of the most charming Gothic neighborhoods in Barcelona. We will see landmarks such as the Cathedral of St. Eulalia, the Royal Palace, the nearby Plaza de Sant Jaume with the City Hall, and Palau de la Generalitat, the seat of the Catalan government. In the evening, we will have a group dinner at a typical Catalan tavern.
Return to the hotel. Overnight stay.
La Sagrada Familia, Saragossa
Spain is primarily known for the famous La Sagrada Familia. After exploring it and having lunch in a local restaurant, we will travel to Park Güell.
In the afternoon, we will head to Zaragoza. A typical city break awaits us in Zaragoza. Our steps will lead us to the old town, starting with the Basilica Nuestra Señora del Pilar. We will also visit the Cathedral of Salvador, considered a gem of Aragonese art.

Saragossa
After breakfast, we will head to the city center, where the fortified Muslim palace from the 11th century is located – Palacio de Aljafería. We will also visit the representative city square Plaza del Pilar, which, seen from above, resembles the shape of the South American continent.
Of course, Spain includes Madrid. We will take a stroll through the center of the capital of Spain, which is the most important point on the map of this country.

Seville
Today, we have a longer journey ahead. In the morning, we head towards the southernmost corner of Europe. Along the way, we will visit the Andalusian city associated with flamenco – Seville.
We will see the Cathedral, which is the third-largest temple in the world after the Vatican Basilica and the London Cathedral. We will visit Alcazar and Plaza de España.
In the evening, we will take a stroll through the city. Dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight stay in Seville.
Cadiz
After breakfast, we will leave Seville and head to Cadiz, the oldest city in Spain.
Cadiz is a city with interesting temples and many monuments from the Roman period. There is a Roman theater, which is the oldest and largest monument of this kind on the Iberian Peninsula.
From the city center, we will go to La Viña, the traditional port district. We will also see La Caleta, one of the most popular beaches in Cadiz.
In the afternoon, we will head to Chiringuito Agua beach, where we will spend time swimming and relaxing by the charms of the Spanish coast.
Overnight stay near Gibraltar
Gibraltar
After breakfast, we will drive towards Tarifa. We will go to an observation point to see the Strait of Gibraltar. Then, we will head to Gibraltar.
We will also visit Punta Europa, and then ascend the Rock of Gibraltar. We will enter St. Michael’s Cave. During free time, we will have the opportunity to shop on Main Street. Gibraltar is a duty-free zone.
Then we will drive towards Almunecar for an overnight stay.
Cartagena
After breakfast, free time to enjoy the charms of the beach on the Spanish Costa del Sol. Then, a drive along the Mediterranean coast to Cartagena. Upon arrival, we will take a stroll through this rich in antiquities city.
Transfer to Valencia and overnight stay
Valencia
After breakfast, we will continue our journey towards Valencia. A perfect example of modern architecture is the City of Arts and Sciences – a huge complex of cultural and entertainment facilities. In avant-garde buildings, in addition to the cultural center, the largest oceanarium in Europe is also located.

Departure from Barcelona
Did Spain leave an impression on you? After breakfast, with bags full of souvenirs and good wine, we will head to the airport. We will bid farewell to the group and return home.
