1.day

Flight to Santiago de Chile

Our adventure begins with the anticipation of exploration as we facilitate a seamless passport and baggage check-in process, ensuring a hassle-free start to your journey. Soon after, we’ll take flight to Santiago de Chile, the vibrant and sprawling metropolis that stands as the largest city in Chile.

As you board the flight, rest assured that every detail of your travel experience has been meticulously considered for your comfort and convenience. Santiago de Chile, nestled in the heart of the Andes, awaits with its rich cultural heritage, modern charm, and panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

2.day

Santiago de Chile

Following our arrival in Santiago de Chile and a brief respite, our exploration unfolds with a captivating tour of the cosmopolitan capital. Immerse yourself in the cultural and historical richness as we venture to iconic landmarks.

Our itinerary includes a visit to Plaza de Armas, the bustling heart of the city, where history and daily life converge. Marvel at the Cathedral’s architectural grandeur and the stately Central Post Office building.

The tour continues to the symbolic seat of Chilean power, La Moneda Presidential Palace, and we’ll wander through the charming Paris-Londres neighborhood, home to the historic San Francisco Church.

As the day’s discoveries draw to a close, we retire to carefully selected accommodation in Santiago de Chile, ensuring a comfortable and rejuvenating overnight stay.

3.day

Punta Arenas, Magdalena Island, Puerto Natales

In the morning, we embark on the next leg of our adventure, heading to the airport for a flight to Punta Arenas, the vibrant capital of the untamed and wind-swept Patagonia.

Upon arrival, our Patagonian journey takes off with a scenic cruise through the legendary Magellan Strait to Magdalena Island.  During the cruise, we’ll navigate around Marta Island, providing an opportunity to observe the playful sea lions that call these waters home.

Following our maritime exploration, our path leads to Puerto Natales, nestled along the renowned Ultima Esperanza Sound and serving as the Gateway to the extraordinary Torres del Paine National Park. A three-hour traverse through the sweeping landscapes of the Patagonian pampas brings us to this enchanting destination. Accommodation awaits at a selected hotel in Puerto Natales.

NOTE: Please be advised that due to the unpredictable weather conditions in the region, the cruise requires confirmation 24 hours before the planned departure time, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.

4.day

Torres Del Paine, the Grey Glacier, Trekking W

Early in the morning, our expedition sets forth towards the majestic Torres del Paine, a crown jewel among mountainous National Parks in the South American continent.

Our journey commences with the renowned W Trek from Hosteria Grey, where the adventure unfolds with a visit to the beach and the embarkation point for the modern catamaran, Grey III. Upon reaching Refugio Grey, the starting point for the “W” trekking, our trekking adventure takes flight.

Our initial hike leads us to the viewpoint of the Grey Glacier, spanning an impressive 6 km in width and covering an area of 270 km². Continuing along the trail towards Refugio Paine Grande, we are treated to panoramic vistas and the breathtaking beauty of the Patagonian landscape.

A stop at a viewpoint overlooking Lake Grey reveals the mesmerizing sight of floating icebergs. The trek then winds its way closer to Mount Paine Grande, the highest peak in the massif at 3050 meters above sea level. The day concludes with an overnight stay at Refugio Paine Grande.

Trekking Time: Approximately 4 hours Distance: 13 km

NOTE: Please be advised that the Grey cruise is weather-dependent, requiring confirmation 24 hours before the planned departure time to ensure a safe and exhilarating experience.

5.day

Torres Del Paine Park, Trekking W, Frances Valley

Our day unfolds with an exhilarating trek towards one of the most iconic landmarks along the “W” trail – the Francés Valley.

Setting out from Campamento Italiano, our path leads through lush forests, covering approximately 2 km, as we ascend the Francés River valley towards the Britanico viewpoint.

The journey culminates in a spectacular vista that unfolds before us – a valley embraced by the towering peaks of Paine Grande, Catedral, Hoja, Máscara, Espada, Aleta de Tiburón, and the Horns.

After immersing ourselves in this breathtaking panorama, we retrace our steps towards Campamento Italiano and then proceed towards our next destination, Refugio Los Cuernos.

Nestled in the heart of nature, we will spend the night in tents, surrounded by the awe-inspiring landscapes that define Torres del Paine.

Trekking Time: 9-10 hours Distance: 26 km

6.day

Torres Del Paine Park, W Trekking, Cuerenos, Rio Serrano

Our day commences with a scenic catamaran journey to Pudeto, setting the stage for an exploration of the stunning landscapes that await in Torres del Paine.

Upon reaching Pudeto, we momentarily leave our backpacks in the bus before embarking on a short trek to the enchanting Cuernos viewpoint. This brief hike provides a glimpse into the wild Patagonian landscape, surrounded by lush vegetation that adds to the allure of the journey.

Following this trek, we transfer to our accommodation nestled by the Rio Serrano, offering a picturesque view of the entire Paine mountain massif. For those seeking an extra adventure, there’s an optional trek to the Mirador Condor viewpoint, an opportunity to further immerse oneself in the beauty of Patagonia.

Our overnight stay features multi-bedrooms with bathrooms, providing comfort and a sense of camaraderie among fellow adventurers.

Trekking Time: 2 hours Distance: 4 km

7.day

Torres Del Paine Trekking, W Trekking, Base Las Torres

The culmination of our W trek adventure unfolds as we embark on the final stretch, conquering the iconic Base Las Torres. Our journey commences through vegetation reminiscent of pre-Andean matorral, swiftly transitioning into a forested landscape where the trail ascends once more.

The last and most challenging stage covers 0.8 km, a journey of approximately 45 minutes, leading us to the Las Torres viewpoint. Here, three majestic granite towers stand in all their glory, an extraordinary spectacle that guarantees awe-inspiring experiences for every conqueror of Mirador Las Torres.

The breathtaking beauty of these mountains, among the most significant landmarks to visit in Chile, promises unforgettable moments.

Following a well-deserved rest, we descend towards Hosteria Las Torres and then return to Puerto Natales via transportation. Our overnight stay in Puerto Natales ensures a comfortable and reflective conclusion to this remarkable adventure.

Trekking Time: 8-9 hours Distance: 18 km

8.day

Puerto Natales, Punta Arenas, Santiago de Chile

Following a delightful breakfast at the hotel and a leisurely stroll along the shores of the Ultima Esperanza Sound, we bid a fond farewell to the untamed beauty of Patagonia. Our journey continues as we head towards the airport in Punta Arenas.

En route, the expansive vistas of the Patagonian pampas unfold before us, offering a captivating view of this rugged and pristine landscape. With a touch of serendipity, we may be graced with sightings of herds of guanacos, foxes, nandus (ostriches), or even the graceful presence of flamingos.

A flight to Santiago de Chile awaits, marking the transition from the wild allure of Patagonia to the cosmopolitan charm of the capital city. Upon arrival, a seamless transfer to the hotel ensures a comfortable and restful overnight stay.

9.day

Departure from Santiago de Chile

Begin your day with a leisurely breakfast, setting the stage for a captivating stroll through the cosmopolitan streets of Santiago. Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the city, capturing the essence of its rich culture and modern allure.

As the day unfolds, we transition towards the airport for your return flight home. Reflect on the unforgettable memories forged in Torres del Paine and Patagonia, carrying with you the spirit of adventure and the beauty of Chile’s diverse landscapes.
