We will begin our journey from the shores of Lake Como, where mysterious alleyways and historic buildings will immerse us in the atmosphere of this place’s rich history. Let’s then move on to the southern areas of Italy, where culinary traditions, music, and art blend in a unique way, creating unforgettable experiences.

Throughout our program, we will explore not only well-known tourist attractions but also hidden treasures and authentic experiences that will make you fall in love with this part of Italy. We will delve into the local cuisine, discovering the flavors and aromas that distinguish Southern Italy. 1.day

Flight to Italy

Today, we begin our journey to Southern Italy and Lake Como. After the passport and baggage check-in, we are ready for our flight to Italy.Jezioro Como

2.day

Milan, Bellagio

After landing, a transfer awaits us to the hotel located in the charming town of Bellagio, situated by the picturesque Lake Como. The rest of the day is free for personal activities. In the evening, we will have dinner at one of the restaurants in Bellagio, where you can taste local specialties and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the place.

3.day

Lake Como

After breakfast, we’ll head to the pier where a private boat will take us on a cruise along the picturesque shores of the lake, adorned with extravagant villas and well-kept gardens. During this excursion, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about the fascinating history of this region and savor a glass of exquisite wine.

Our boat will dock in Varenna, where we’ll take a stroll to Villa Monastero, exploring its botanical garden, museum, and conference center.

In the afternoon, we’ll have the chance to visit another elegant and romantic villa nestled on a wooded promontory by the lake – Villa del Balbianello, an 18th-century residence with impressive gardens. After these wonderful experiences, we’ll return to the hotel in Bellagio for an overnight stay.

4.day

Sankt Moritz

After breakfast, we will head towards the border with Switzerland. In the town of Tirano, we will board the famous Bernina Express, a tourist train that will take us to St. Moritz. During the journey through the Alps, the train will traverse the magical landscapes of two enchanting valleys: Valtellina and Engadine. This is a land of craftsmanship, culture, local traditions, and stories of witches and gnomes.

St. Moritz is a world-renowned, elegant, and exclusive resort town known for its cosmopolitan atmosphere. It is situated on the southern, sunny slope, offering breathtaking views of the peaks of the Alps exceeding 3000 meters above sea level and the shimmering emerald lake.

The rest of the day is free, followed by a return to Bellagio for an overnight stay.

5.day

Milan

Today, we’ll spend the entire day in Milan, exploring its highlights with a guide. We’ll visit the Duomo Cathedral, the largest and most elaborate Gothic building in Italy, and the medieval fortress, Castello Sforzesco. After delving into the historic part of the city, we’ll also discover its more modern side, including the residential and commercial district known as “City Life.”

Milan is the Italian fashion capital, so shopping enthusiasts will surely love a tour of the world’s top fashion brands. The remainder of the day is free in Milan, followed by a return to Bellagio for an overnight stay.

6.day

Como, Naples

After breakfast, we’ll take a trip to the town of Como, where we’ll ascend a nearby hill overlooking the lake using a funicular, rising 1600 feet above.

At the summit lies the small town of Brunate. The funicular was built at the end of the 19th century, replacing an even older system of steam engines. We’ll bid farewell to Northern Italy and the Lake Como area as we head towards the sunny south.

We’ll transfer to the airport for our flight to Naples.

7.day

Naples

Today, we will explore Naples, a city in southern Italy boasting the largest historic center in Europe. The city’s layout has origins in both Greek and Roman influences, and various dynasties, especially the Spanish, have left a distinct mark on its history.

The people of Naples are known for their hospitality, and the city is rich in delicious and affordable authentic pizzerias and food stalls offering diverse specialties. The majestic Mount Vesuvius, an active volcano, provides a dramatic backdrop to the city, offering views of the Tyrrhenian Sea.

After our exploration, we will spend the night in Naples.

8.day

Sorrento, Pompeii

After breakfast, we will head to the nearby Sorrento, often referred to as the “balcony” of the Mediterranean Sea, offering views of Procida Island, the Bay of Naples, and Mount Vesuvius. Sorrento is also known as “La Gentile” (the gentle/kind) due to its elegant gardens, charming streets, mild climate, and friendly atmosphere.

Next, we will visit the archaeological site of Pompeii, a Roman city destroyed in 79 AD by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. Covered by at least a 6-meter layer of volcanic ash, the Pompeii archaeological site provides a unique insight into various aspects of social, economic, religious, and political life in the ancient world.

After the exploration, we’ll return to Naples for an overnight stay.

9.day

Capri

After breakfast, there will be a transfer to the port, where we’ll take a hydrofoil to the picturesque island of Capri. Upon arrival, accompanied by a guide, we’ll explore the area to discover all its most beautiful corners. Capri is known not only for its natural beauty but also as a destination for the rich and famous.

Tourists visiting this island can enjoy extraordinary views of cliffs, immerse themselves in crystal-clear blue waters, stroll through the lively crowd at the Piazzetta, and shop in the world’s most fashionable boutiques.

After a day full of attractions, we’ll return to Naples for an overnight stay.

10.day

Departure from Naples

This marks the last day of our journey through the Italian land. After breakfast, there will be a transfer to the airport for the return flight. I hope Lake Como and Southern Italy have left a lasting impression on you.
