“The Langtang” – trekking in the Himalayas

The Langtang trek in Nepal is a multi-day mountain expedition in the Langtang region located in the northern part of the country, near the Tibetan border. It is an incredibly diverse route in terms of landscape, offering encounters with local fauna, snow-capped Himalayan peaks, rhododendron forests, Buddhism, and culture and traditions.

The highest point on the route is the five-thousand-meter peak – Tsergo Ri. Gradual ascent and accommodation in lower mountain areas facilitate acclimatization, making the Langtang Trek an ideal expedition for both novice hikers and experienced mountain travelers.

Nepal, tucked away high in the Himalayas, is worth visiting to admire its rich culture and breathtaking Himalayan landscapes. However, one may also witness sad aspects, such as child labor and poverty. On the other hand, Bhutan is a picturesque country where people, following the King’s decree, live much like centuries ago. Wearing national costumes is mandatory throughout the day until dusk.

One of the most popular Himalayan trails leads to an incredible viewpoint of the Annapurna Massif (8091 meters above sea level), the tenth highest mountain in the world. The route delights with lush vegetation, rhododendron forests, and views of the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas. It allows you to get close to the culture and observe the daily life of the locals. The Annapurna Base Camp is located at an altitude of 4130 meters above sea level.
