1.day

Flight to Johannesburg

Following passport and baggage check-in, there will be a flight to Johannesburg, of the largest city in South Africa.

2.day

Johannesburg

After landing in Johannesburg, the journey continues to a hotel for an overnight stay and dinner. The next morning features a flight to Victoria Falls, the tourist capital of Zimbabwe.

3.day

David Livingstone Lodge and Spa

Even before landing in Victoria Falls, there will be a chance to spot the mist rising from the ground. These are the Victoria Falls – a wonder of nature and a natural border on the Zambezi River between Zambia and Zimbabwe.

A walk along the edge of the falls is planned. In the afternoon, after crossing the border with Zambia, the journey continues to David Livingstone Lodge and Spa.

Africa and its magic can certainly be felt here, thanks to the hotel located right on the banks of the Zambezi River.

The Elephant Cafe

Revisiting the iconic adage ‘What is worth seeing once is worth seeing twice,’ today’s itinerary includes a renewed exploration of the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls, this time from the Zambian perspective.

Furthermore, a distinctive dining experience awaits at Elephant Cafe, where a restaurant nestled in proximity to the elephant sanctuary offers guests the unique opportunity to engage with African elephants, all while savoring the exquisite flavors of African cuisine.

As the day progresses, a captivating sunset cruise along the Zambezi River promises a mesmerizing culmination to our adventure.

5.day

Chobe National Park

Today, Africa invites us to explore another country – Botswana. Our retreat awaits at the esteemed Chobe Safari Lodge. An evening safari in Chobe National Park promises an incredible opportunity for an up-close encounter with the diverse local fauna.

As the oldest national park in Botswana, Chobe National Park boasts thorny thickets, dense shrubbery, expansive marshes, and savannas intersected by a network of rivers, creating an ideal haven for the myriad animals that inhabit the park. Following the evening safari, we’ll transfer to our overnight accommodation.

6.day

Cruise on the Chobe River

Embark on a day of wildlife discovery as we witness animals in their natural habitat through open-vehicle drives and a serene boat cruise along the Chobe River.

Anticipate up-close encounters with elephants, gazelles, antelopes, buffaloes, and hippos. A stroke of luck might even reveal the elusive presence of a leopard or lion.

Following these exhilarating experiences, we’ll transfer to the hotel for a brief lunch and some rest. In the afternoon, our journey continues with a scenic river cruise on the Chobe River. From the comfort of the boat, marvel at crocodiles sunning themselves on the banks, hippos foraging in the bushes, and numerous herds of elephants.

7.day

Cape Town

Today involves a transfer to the airport in Victoria Falls and a flight to Cape Town. After arrival and checking into the hotel, a visit to Signal Hill is planned. Its slopes offer the best spots for contemplating the city’s panorama at sunset.

In the evening, dinner is arranged, followed by a return to the hotel for the night.

8.day

Cape Town

Today’s quest is to discover the best that Cape Town has to offer. The adventure begins with a visit to the fantastically colorful Bo-Kaap district. Following that, a cable car ride to the summit of Table Mountain is on the agenda.

In the afternoon, a trip to one of the most popular beaches in the Camps Bay area is planned, providing some personal time to relax. After dinner, the day concludes with a return to the hotel.

9.day

Cape of Good Hope

Today’s journey heads towards the Cape of Good Hope, a rugged promontory at the very tip of the Cape Peninsula.

Traveling on the world’s most scenic route, “Chappies,” includes a stop at the popular Boulders Beach. “The Chappies” route brings the journey to Hout Bay, renowned for its stunning beaches and picturesque coast.

The day wraps up at Muizenberg Beach, famed as one of the top surfing beaches globally.

10.day

V and A Waterfront

Commencing our day, we will journey to Khwattu Village, home to a distinctive ‘San People’ museum and a faithful replica of their village.

In the afternoon, our exploration leads us to the prestigious V&A Waterfront, an enclave frequented by renowned personalities such as Elton John, David Beckham, and Madonna, who own properties in this area.

For enthusiasts seeking an elevated experience, a helicopter flight is available, offering a panoramic vista not only of the city but also of Table Mountain and Lion’s Head.

As the day unfolds, we will be aboard a pirate ship replica, witnessing the sunset from its deck during a bay cruise. Accompanied by music, this maritime excursion will also feature an opportunity to indulge in local libations, providing a memorable conclusion to our day.

11.day

Stellenbosch

Exploring the fertile expanse known as the breadbasket of South Africa, our expedition leads us into the Stellenbosch area, a region boasting over 150 vineyards welcoming visitors to immerse themselves in the world of wine.

Embarking on a journey that challenges our taste buds, we will delve into the distinctive attributes of Pinotage. Esteemed connoisseurs describe this varietal as emanating fragrances of plum, cherry, raspberry, and chocolate, complemented by nuanced notes of spicy seasoning and coffee.

A tasting session awaits us, providing firsthand experience, and for those so inclined, an opportunity to procure these exquisite wines for a memento of the journey.

12.day

Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens

Commencing our day post-breakfast, our first destination is the renowned Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.

Subsequently, our exploration leads us to the historic Castle of Good Hope, the city’s oldest standing building, which once served as both a fort and a prison.

Following this historical immersion, we will leisurely traverse through the Company Gardens, whose origins trace back to the 17th century when it functioned as a vital provisioning source for merchant ship crews.

Our journey then takes us to the Green Market Square market, where the opportunity to acquire souvenirs directly from their producers awaits.

13.day

Departure from Cape Town

As the morning unfolds, we embark on our personalized farewell to Africa, a poignant and intimate culmination of our journey.

This time is reserved for capturing final moments through photographs, cherishing mementos, and engaging in last heartfelt conversations.

Subsequently, a seamless transition awaits as we proceed with the transfer to the airport, marking the departure phase of our unforgettable experience.
