Next, we visit, among other sites: Hanga Poukura – a beautiful coastline with interesting volcanic rock formations and the phenomenon known as the Blowhole.

We continue our journey along the southern coast until we reach the entrance to “Ara o te Moai,” heading towards Rano Raraku – the area of the volcano transformed into a megalith factory.

To conclude the tour, we explore Ahu Tongariki – the largest and most impressive, restored monument on Rapa Nui with 15 powerful Moai placed back in their original positions.

Today we visit the old Vai Tea sheep farm, where our hike to the highest peak of Maunga Terevaka begins. It is the youngest of the three volcanoes that gave rise to the triangular shape of Easter Island.
